EXAMPLES OF SUCCESSFUL PROJECTS

Centurion Air Cargo

Assisted Client in obtaining a long term ground lease for expanding operations at Miami International Airport approved by Miami Dade County and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to construct a new cargo facility. Project is valued in excess of $120 million dollars.

Port of Miami Tunnel

Developed the political strategy to obtain the approval of a tri party agreement between the State of Florida, Miami Dade County and City of Miami for a 35 year concession in favor of its clients, Meridiam Infrastructure and Bouygues Travaux Publics to develop the Port of Miami Tunnel, a first of its kind Public Private Partnership. Project value was in excess of $1 billion dollars. Since completion the project was completed on an “on time under budget basis”  and has won global awards.

Miami Dade County Water Chiller Plant

Assisted client (TECO) in negotiating and selling its existing water chiller plant which presently services the American Airlines Arena to Miami Dade County to allow the county to expand it’s chilled water facilities. In a subsequent phase, finalized the expansion of the plant on behalf of its client BGA / ConEdison Solutions.

Biscayne Landing

Established a new Urban Land Planning Policy for Miami Dade County utilized to modify the boundaries of the Miami Dade County Enterprise Zone . The strategy swapped undevelopable land within the Enterprise Zone and the designation was then utilized to include developable sites such as the Biscayne Landing Project. The strategy resulted in an approximately $2 million benefit with the potential benefit of being in excess of $30 million.

Construction Program Management Miami Dade Public Schools

Introduced, successfully competed for and implemented construction management to the Miami Dade County Public Schools on behalf of its client URS.

Performance Contract

Introduced, successfully competed for and implemented State approved vendor energy performance contract to Miami Dade County on behalf it’s client BGA/Con Ed Solutions as well as additional expansion of water chiller plant via an energy performance contract.
